That was very challenging. On the third round run, I heard footsteps.

Gordon pulls up along side:

"Hey Jon, you need some encouragement?"

Then he passed me, finishing a good two minutes before I died--I mean did. Good job, Brother!

That made my day complete. A half-hour earlier, Sam overhead squatted a load I couldn't keep above my head.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I'll get you next time :)

Great job this AM, everyone! For me, "Kelly" is one of those WODs that's far more challenging than it appears in the written word.
Managed to get through four and one third rounds. Might have done more, had I not partaken in Gilson's AgainFaster orgy at the Pond yesterday, which made today's wall ball work far slower than my usual glacial pace. As always, I'm grateful for the encouragement, and for the opportunity to work out with you all. Thanks!

worked up to 115# on the OH squats

DNF Kelly- 3 rounds at 28 minutes, the wall balls killed me!

and Jon- you could keep it above your head, I just had to show you how it's done first ;)

Great group today --that was fun! I only got through 3 rounds and that's with 15-20# thruster subs for the wall ball. By the end I was losing my count up to 30 reps -- oxygen deprivation no doubt. I can't wait to do this one again!!

OUCHHHHHHHHH..... 34.14 for 5 rounds and substituted kipping pullups for thrusters because of my lower back pain. that was freaking TERRIBLE.

85# ohs

Around 23 min for 3 modified rounds of Kelly.

I'd blame Saturday night, but it could also be my spectacular unfitness.
