CrossFit Boston will be closed tomorrow as Will and I attend the USAW certification in Springfield, MA. All comers are encouraged to meet at Downes Field, 317 Pond Ave Brookline, MA, at 6:30am. Downes Field is mapped below.

So after being the one to first ask if we are meeting up Saturday morning I'm no going to back out. It turns out I'm spending the night in Braintree after celebrating my friends' shipping out. I won't be able to be in Brookline by 6:30am. If anyone sees Nigel tell him not to wait for me. Sorry and I'll punish myself extra hard for this tomorrow.

That looks like a gentle end to the week. I'll abuse my workplace's gym for that tomorrow. But certainly not at 0630 :)

what fun! we rocked out on downes field with more cheerleading antics (toe-touches included) and a dog peeing on thor's jacket.

my highpoint - almost starting a fight with the same dog when it tried to break my stride in the sprints.

oh, 18:40 with all modified pushups.

Let's see... there was Nigel, Thor, EC, Sam, Nancy and me. We stretched. We chatted. We completed the WOD. We chatted some more. We did some sprints. We watched EC do some toe-touches. We chatted again. We learned that Nancy was a professional cheerleader for the Patriots....and, did I mention that we chatted?

and we saw a dog pee on Thor's jacket.

Honestly, morning was beautiful and, as always, lots and lots of fun (canine urine aside). Have a great weekend everyone.

So the core, dedicated Crossfit diehards showed up, banged out the exercises and then did some sprints! The great benefit of Crossfit; reaching a level of fitness and quick recovery that makes such madness possible...

I am growing used to seeing EC's figure grow ever smaller in the distance on these running days....I will look into high-tech thigh and calf implants and see if I can't at least keep her in sight next time.

And I curse the day some fool invented the lunge...

Today's Crossfit quote; "my bruise is large and in charge" -EC.( what did we do for fun before EC showed up?)
