Ended at 95# (failed a couple times at 105#), a PR for the cleans (and possibly the jerks as well).

We forgot to time the run, but I'm sure Nancy, Thor, Doug and I did it in around 4 minutes or so.

Aaarrrrrgghh!

It's a well established law of physics that lifting weight over a longer distance requires more work. Hence, my long limbs correlate nicely with my profound inability to lift all but the PVC warm-up pipe into a rack position. (but I'll keep at it..next time I'll use TWO PVC warm-up pipes!...) This ho-hum performance is in stark contrast to that of Will, who can clean & jerk a Mack truck without breaking too much of a sweat. Nice job, Will, and congratulations again on your engagement!

Thanks Thor!! Everyone did great today, especially after the effort put out yesterday.

It was a great way to start the day with a PR, now that this mental barrier has been destroyed hopefully the weight will keep going up.

60lbs for the clean and jerk (my 1st time). I still need to work a lot of my form. Yes, we were flying this morning. Great job Jo and Thor. Thor was hunting us for the 1st two rounds and finally got us. We sprinted to the finish line with Thor in 1st place. :)

It was my first time doing a correct clean & jerk (we screwed around in high school). I was happy to discover I can Clean & Jerk my own body weight. I need to work on the form then it's only up from here!

Began with snatches for the ramp up. Got to 135 and then switched to C&J. Topped out at 255 for a single. Felt good.

Thanks for the active participation on the board. :)

Need some serious work on switching direction to get under the bar. In the name of virtuousity, I'll be C&Jing a 45# bar all afternoon.

Hope you had more fun after the run, Sam...
