145#, 5 single reps, varying form, from atrocious to horrible.

Thanks to Josh for inspiration.

3x29 sec. repeats on the 200 sprints.

Air squats tomorrow with Josh and anyone else who wants a crack at Sam's record...

I think I got up to maybe 105# on the thrusters, I'm not entirely sure. I just yelled a lot, that much I know.

200m sprints @ :32, :34 and :37. Brutal. But everyone did a great job today, good teamwork all around. A bunch of rabbits...the lot of you, rabbits!!

Maxed with 205lb

Tried to get 235 but I couldn't clean it to start the movement. Missed out on sprints, you guys looked like you had fun though

Missed out on those sprints, huh Will? :)

Darn.

Good push at 205! Don't sweat the 235--it'll come.

Nice 200 meter time, Nigel, especially with the hockey-stop turn halfway through. You'd be closer to 27 on a straight track!

Good luck at 461 squats--there are definite physical reprucussions to that kind of effort. You'll walk funny for days. Get some!

Don't worry Nigel, 460 squats isn't as bad you'd think- plus the pain is only temporary- but
you do realize that if you go for 461 I'm going to have to get 462 ;)

Re. Nigel's max. effort air squats:

Wouldn't it be funny if, not unlike his max. effort pull-up performance, Nigel just sprung up like spring on 462 and hit his head on the ceiling...

wouldn't that be funny?

stole this from xfit oakland, who was quoting a dan john article on ohead squats. thought youd appreciate it:

For an athlete, it [overhead squats] turns your body into “one piece.” Unfortunately, for the past few years, misguided athletes have been taught to do upper body one day, lower body another. Or worse, front of the thighs one day and back of the thighs another. One day soon, people will be asked to train the muscles that pull the left thigh in, then rest that overfatigued muscle for the next 21 days. Wait, you’re right. It is already happening.

Up to 85#; could and should have gone higher (and accepted the help that was gracefully offered), but threw a mental hissy fit when I couldn't clean 95#.

sprints were 31, 33 and 35.

Great effort this morning.
